What will be the reward for reforms?

In the case of agricultural goods and reforms in the sanitary and phytosanitary area, Moldovan products of animal origin will finally be able to enter the EU market;

1) as regards services, the EU will further remove some restrictions still in place for Moldovan operators;

2) in public procurement, access to mutual procurement markets will be made and additional access to procurement bids (currently not covered) may be granted;

3) with regard to industrial standards, the reforms will enable conclusion of an agreement on conformity and acceptance of industrial standards, which will demonstrate competitiveness of Moldovan industrial sectors on a par with the EU ones and facilitate procedures to grant the quality CE mark to Moldovan products;

4) customs and trade facilitation reforms will benefit Moldovan exporters/importers indirectly, through better and easier customs procedures, unified with those in the EU, thereby lowering the cost of trade, as well as increasing the predictability of the customs legal framework.
