On 14th of July 2015 the launch event for the website www.dcfta.md was held. This event was organised by the EU-funded project “Support to the DCFTA process in the Republic of Moldova” (DCFTA project) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.

The EU Ambassador to Moldova, Pirkka Tapiola, emphasised the need for this informational platform, as the website will contribute first to the DCFTA’s communication component, bringing the relevant information closer to the stakeholders, business community and the general public in the Republic of Moldova. He also stated that it will be an important tool for providing practical information about the DCFTA and its opportunities.

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Valeriu Triboi, highlighted the added value of this website to the overall implementation of the DCFTA and its impact on private sector and business organisations.

The DCFTA project Team Leader, Tina Golfi, pointed out that the www.dcfta.md website aims to become a unique source of information about DCFTA implementation, which will ensure a continuous dialogue between beneficiary institutions, mass-media and the population.

The website is intended as a clear and straightforward communication tool for the relevant stakeholders, implementing partners, and most importantly representatives of the business community in the Republic of Moldova.
