The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum’s Steering Committee has announced its final selection of participants for the 8th Annual Assembly to be held in Brussels between 28 and 30 November 2016. This year the organisers received 538 applications for the Annual Assembly, of which 236 organisations from six Eastern Partnership countries have been selected to take part in the Forum, either as participants or observers in line with the eligibility guidelines.

Thirty two per cent of those selected are new participants of the Forum. The full list of participants and observers is available here. Each participant or observer is part of one of the five following Working Groups:

1. Democracy, human rights, good governance and stability
2. Economic integration, convergence with EU policies
3. Environment, climate change and energy security
4. Contacts between people
5. Social and labour policies and Social dialogue

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit, which launched the Eastern Partnership. The EaP CSF aims to support the development of civil society organisations and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities. The first EaP CSF Annual Assembly took place in Brussels on 16-17 November 2009.
