DECISION No 2/2016 OF THE EU-REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE IN TRADE CONFIGURATION of 19 October 2016 updating Annex XXIX to the Association Agreement [2016/2028]

This Decision updated and replaced Annex XXIX of the Association Agreement (Annexes XXIX-A to XXIX-P) regarding DCFTA Chapter 8 – Public Procurement and the EU Directives which Moldova should approximate in its national legislation. This Annex was amended because several listed EU acts had been amended, recast or repealed and replaced by new EU acts since the initialing of the Association Agreement on 29 November 2013. The amendments include 3 new EU Directives.
These amendments include revised value thresholds for public procurement contracts (listed in Annex XXIX-A) and provide a time schedule for Moldova’s institutional reforms, approximation of the listed EU Directives and market access requirements regarding public procurement (see Annex XXIX-B). The new Annex XXIX includes Annexes XXIX-A to XXIX-T).
This Decision entered into force on 19 October 2016.
